Adina is an award-winning writer/director and co-founder of ToyBox Films. A London Film School graduate with a background in writing for television, Adina’s work has garnered international recognition from the MEDIA Programme, the European Commission, Clermont-Ferrand Euro-Connection, Berlinale Short Film Station, Film London, Vestnorsk Filmsenter, Nisi Masa, Northern Film & Media and the Sarajevo Film Festival.
Her short films have been distributed theatrically and online in Europe, Asia and the US through Interfilm, Shorts International and Kinolife.
A proud BAFTA Guru Pro and BFI NET.WORK alumna, Adina is also a member of Cinesisters London, a collective of award-winning female directors dedicated to the creation of more films by and about women.
Adina is in currently in post-production with 512 Hours, a feature documentary about Marina Abramovic’s 2014 durational performance at the Serpentine Galleries. Co-directed and co-produced together with ToyBox Films co-founder Giannina La Salvia, the film has been selected for this year’s IFP Completion Labs, as well as US in Progress 2018.
She is also in development with Eve, her debut feature. Shortlisted for the Sundance International Screenwriters’ Lab, the project has received support from the Venice Biennale College Cinema 2015/2016, the Wellcome Trust, Connections @ Edinburgh IFF, Creative Skillset, EAVE and participated in the 2016 edition of the IFP No Borders Co-Production Market.
